The owner is not close enough to Bob???s to be back for all the services so he had them preformed closer to home but this bike was traded in on his new R1200GSW so he remains a loyal Bob???s customer despite the distance involved.The prior and only owner also added a beautiful set of adjustable Alloy Control Levers, quite a few nice Carbon Fiber pieces, an extra accessory switch, the BMW luggage rack and a very nice Akropovic Exhaust Pipe that offers both great looks plus a sporty exhaust note.As you???d expect at Bob???s it comes with a spare key, owner???s manual, factory supplied tool kit and has passed both the Maryland State Inspection as well as our ADVANTAGE CERTIFIED Program inspection and extended test ride. WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.
Isle of Man TT 2014: RL360 Superstock TT Results
Tue, 03 Jun 2014Michael Dunlop won his second race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT and ninth in his career, taking the RL360 Superstock TT on a BMW S1000RR. Dunlop also won the Superbike TT earlier, giving BMW its first two wins on the Isle of Man since 1939. Meanwhile, Supersport TT 1 winner Gary Johnson was injured in a crash on the opening lap while running second behind Dunlop.
McQueen’s Husky on the Auction Block
Fri, 16 Nov 2012Thirty-two years after his death, Steve McQueen still reigns as the coolest movie star to ever ride a motorcycle. One of his preferred brands was Husqvarna (another, seen here, was Triumph) and to the delight of motorcycle enthusiasts and McQueen fans alike, one of his bikes will soon be in the hands of a new owner. This 1970 Husqvarna 400 Cross owned and ridden by Steve McQueen will be up for auction on January 10th, at Bally’s Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, by Bonhams. The motorcycle comes with an exhaustive quantity of documents supporting its provenance and authenticity.
