BMW Other description

2011 BMW R1200rt , 2011 BMW R1200RT, I am the original owner, I have reached my 60's and have been riding bikes since I was 15. I am now ready to start to slow down and have decided to sell this bike for a lighter bike, even though this is one of the lightest bikes you will find. The bike is in perfect condition, always serviced at the BMW dealer. I bought this bike new January 15, 2012 so the full warranty is good until January 2015. The bike is loaded has every option you can put on the bike except the chrome exhaust. I have added the Russell custom leather seat front and back heated, also added the Rifle shield, and the one inch risers plus the custom rear floor boards. I also have the Zumo GPS docking station hard wired into the bike. The bike has blue tooth radio with Satellite. I listen to the Sirus radio through the bluetooth into my helmet. The bike has electronic suspension and ASC or traction control plus tire pressure monitors and the full computer system, again I don't think this bike has any options missing. The price listed includes the small top case but I also have the 40 liter top case and the front top case and can work that into the price if interested. $17,250.00

The rolling thunder soundtrack from its supercharged V8 motor, amplified by its four side exhaust pipes, announces its impending arrival like a fanfare complete with drum rolls. Heads swivel, seeking the source.

Steve Jobs: Rest in peace

Thu, 06 Oct 2011

Like me you probably discovered the news of Steve Jobs' death on an iPhone, an iPad or iMac. Years before turning Apple into the cool brand that it is today, Steve Jobs rode round on an old BMW. Apple said his "brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives.

WSBK 2013: Phillip Island Race Report

Mon, 25 Feb 2013

Max Biaggi who? The Roman Emperor’s retirement after winning the 2012 World Superbike Championship marked the end of an era for Aprilia, with the 2013 campaign marking the first without Biaggi since the Italian manufacturer came back to the WSBK scene with the RSV4. If Aprilia misses its two-time WSBK Champion, it sure didn’t show it with a dominating display at the 2013 season opener in Australia.
