Bike has all factory options, including Race ANTILOCKING BRAKES, Advanced Traction Control, and the Power Shifter/Gear Shift Assistant. It has the break-in mileage only and has received all required service from BMW dealer with service records included. Bikes has factory three year/ 36K mile warranty through 6/23/2013. It has always been garage kept. Ridden very little (unfortunately!) during summer months only, never seen rain and meticulously maintained by mature adult owner. Clean title with no liens. BMW Bounces Back with Record August Sales

When BMW released its second quarter report last month, the company reported a 4.2% decrease in BMW and Husqvarna motorcycle sales due mainly to a struggling European economy. The economic woes persist but BMW appears to be recovering, reporting a new sales record for the month of August. BMW reports sales of 7,400 motorcycles and scooters in August 2012, a company record for the month and an 11.3% increase from the 6,646 units sold in August 2011 and 14.7% more than the 6,405 units sold in August 2010.

Gesture-controlled Audi wins VDA Design Award

The German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) has announced the winner of its 2013 Design Awards, which asked students from across the world to submit their final graduating projects completed between October 2011 and July 2013. Eric Leong from Sweden's Umeå Institute of Design, came in first place with his 'Audi Elite' project, earning himself €4,000. Leong's single-person vehicle can be controlled using the entire body through gestures and movements, and adapts to the needs of the driver, giving them more control.
