2009 Bmw G 450 X, 2009 BMW G450X - This G450X is a great do all bike. Bike has Pirelli Rallycross tires and a Leo Vince exhaust. The Revolution is Here What makes the G 450 X so unique? It's the way it's engineered. Quite simply, there is technology on this machine that is totally revolutionary. First off, the countershaft sprocket and swingarm are on the same pivot, which keeps chain tension uniform at all times for better power delivery. The clutch is smaller and mounted directly on the crankshaft which means less heat and stress on the plate. A feisty, fuel injected, easy-starting engine that's mounted forward in a stainless steel, cradle-less frame puts serious, power to the ground, while an extra-long swingarm creates unstoppable traction. Add a gas tank under the seat for a lower center of gravity, no linkage Ohlin's shock, and a forward-mounted airbox, and this is a 450 cubic centimeter thumper that stands alone as the most original machine to hit the dirt in years. Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

Tue, 29 May 2012Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points.
