BMW Other description

It is with a heavy heart that I am parting with my 2008 BMW R1200GS Adventure. The bike is 100% mechanically sound and ready to ride the world. This is my 3rd new oilhead, so I m familiar with the proper break-in procedures and the bike does not use any oil whatsoever. All the recalls have been performed, and I have the service records. The tires are original, but are in great shape. Cosmetically, it is a 9 10. The bike has been garage-kept. In addition to the standard R1200GSA equipment, this bike has the following options: Driving lamps Driving computer Warmed grips Anti-Lock Brakes Fairing winglets License plate frame with integrated two-helmet lock Aluminum touring panniers Clear title in hand, no liens.

The automotive world has been buzzing of late about BMW‘s upcoming i3 electric car having an optional range extending gas-powered motorcycle engine. As our sister site Autoguide.com reports, the i3 will be available with an optional two-cylinder BMW motorcycle engine to power a generator which can recharge the electric motor and extend the vehicle’s range to 250 miles compared to a range of 60-90 miles relying just on the battery. It turns out that two-cylinder motorcycle engine will actually be provided to BMW by Taiwanese manufacturer Kymco.
