Liquid-Cooled 2015 BMW R1200R Spied

German site MotorradOnline.de has published a spy photo of what appears to be a new liquid-cooled BMW R1200R prototype undergoing testing. The production model should arrive for the 2015 model year, with the official unveiling likely to take place at the Intermot show in Cologne in October. The spy photo shows the top of the test bike, with the engines, wheels and exhaust hidden behind a railing.

EICMA 2012: BMW Announces New Boxer to Mark 90th Anniversary

Over the summer, we came across spy photos of a new naked version of the BMW S1000RR and a new air-cooled boxer roadster and hoped at least one of the two would be unveiled at either Intermot or the EICMA. BMW Sales Down 2.3% in First Half of 2012 but Record Finish Still Predicted

BMW predicts a record year for motorcycle sales despite a 2.3% dip over the first six months. The first half of 2012 saw BMW sell 59,189 units, down from the 60,580 units reported for the same period in 2011. The decrease is primarily because of a 13.2% drop in sales in June.
