BMW Other description

1999 Bmw K 1200 RS, Very Clean Cycle! Well Maintained : New Battery, Panniers, & ThrottleMeister - It's a bike that doesn't fit neatly into any existing category. Instead, it creates its own. Mega sport tourer? Practical superbike? Whatever you call it, no other bike can comfortably span the continent one week and turn in low lap times at Laguna Seca the next. For a bike with this much power (180 mph top speed anyone?) and technology, it's surprisingly light in traffic. And third gear could get you in serious trouble with the law if you're not careful.

Milan Show: Moto2 tried and tested

Tue, 02 Nov 2010 00:00:00 -0700

The insanity of Moto2 doesn't seem like the right home for the elegance of the Rizoma brand. But the Rizoma ProGuard system has helped secure the levers of Toni Elias on his road to championship success in the inaugural Moto2 season. The example above was on an attractive Rizoma-enhanced BMW S1000RR, but the lever guards are not limited to sports bikes, they were also visible on Yamaha's FZ8.  The patented design can tilt up to 10 degrees providing full lever coverage and can be added by simply replacing the bike's existing bar-ends.

Thu, 22 Aug 2013 00:00:00 -0700

Take a 1991 BMW K100, put in a whole load of creativity and 99 hours of effort and you get this: the Works on Bikes EX BMW. Called the EX BMW because the two guys and girl behind this custom from Milan only kept the engine and part of the original frame. It uses wood, steel, laser machining, CNC and probably the odd bash with a hammer.
