1998 BMW R Series R, Custom painted 1998 BMW R1100R in Laguna Seca blue with top case and color matched luggage. The bike has been completely gone through and runs perfectly. Recently cleaned the injectors and installed a new fuel filter and pump, in addition to a full service. Normally BMWs are set up for shorter people, this one is perfect if you are taller like me (6'+). BMW Reportedly Developing 450cc Racebike
Wed, 28 Nov 2012Italian website Motociclismo.it reports BMW is working on a new 450cc racebike to be used in youth racing series at select rounds other World Superbike Championship and the British Superbike Championship. According to the report, the new track-only sportbike will use a 450cc single-cylinder engine, likely the Husqvarna-developed version of the engine used in the BMW G450X. The engine will be mounted in an all-new chassis with racing suspension, wheels and carbon fiber fairing.
2013 BMW C650GT Canadian Pricing Announced – Sort Of
Thu, 26 Jan 2012BMW has started production of its new C600 Sport and C650GT but still hasn’t officially released pricing information for its two new maxi-scooters. BMW Canada however may have let slip pricing for the C650GT: CA$11,900 BMW Motorrad Canada is holding a contest to give away a C650GT, and the contest rules list the scooter’s MSRP. Of course, the $11,900 price tag is subject to change, especially as the scooter isn’t expected to arrive in Canada until late 2012 as a 2013 model.
