1983 BMW R 100 , 1983 R100 S. (looks like a CS but it's not) 39500miles Very well maintained, Fast, runs great. Features: bar end mirrors, brand new smoked fiberglass windshield, BMW side cases, Corbin Touring Saddle plus original seat and Reynolds Backrest. extra gauge barrels for clock and voltmeter (if you want to go without the fairing) Fork Stabilizer, Brembo brakes, Black powdercoated aluminum snowflake wheels. Transmission was overhauled about 2 years ago @ Boxers by Bruce in Pantego TX. This bike is like a tank--it has never let me down in almost 10 years of awesome riding. What do you get when you bring together the designer of the Fisker Karma and the great-grandson of the founder of Lego? The answer is this cruiser concept model by Danish brand Lauge Jensen called the Viking. The company was formed in 2004 by bike builder Uffe Lauge Jensen but later sold to industrialist Anders Kirk Johansen, the scion of one of Denmark’s wealthiest families and great-grandson of Ole Kirk Christiansen who invented Lego building blocks.

2012 BMW K1600GT, K1600GTL Engine Stall Recall Announced for US

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall for 2,475 units of the 2012 BMW K1600GT and K1600GTL in the U.S. because of a software problem causing engines to stall. A similar recall was previously announced in Canada but we now have more information about the problem.

BMW has developed new suspension technology that automatically adjusts damping for different riding conditions. The Dynamic Damping Control is the next evolutionary step in BMW‘s suspension technology, following its Electronic Suspension Adjustment systems (ESA and ESA II). While ESA allowed the rider to adjust suspension settings with the push of a button, DDC automatically makes adjustments as you ride.
