BMW Other description

1972 BMW R60/5, This is a cool and reliable ole clunker. It starts easily with either the kick starter or the electric start. The bike idles easily and shifts into first with no problems. The clutch seems fine with no gear grinding or slipping. It shifts through all 5 speeds and is delightful to ride. It has sufficient power of what you would expect of a 600 cc horizontally opposed engine. It shows only 16,132 miles on the speedometer. The bike looks real good. The panels on the ???toaster??? tank have some pitting of the chrome. The overall bike has a pleasant patina. Why would you want to repaint this old girl, she looks too good as she is. Priced at a reasonable $4,995.

MINI Scooter E Concept Revealed

Thu, 23 Sep 2010

MINI has just officially revealed not one, but two of its MINI Scooter E Concepts that will officially debut at the Paris Auto Show next week. Created to bring together a youth-oriented lifestyle element and sustainable mobility, the scooters take significant design cues from the MINI lineup of cars while using a lithium-ion battery pack to deliver guilt-free mobility. Making the MINI E Scooter Concept almost excessively hip is its smartphone integration, where the owner’s iPod or similar device acts as the actual key for the scooter, clicking into a central docking station between the handlebars.
