Hi bidders. I have a 2008 BMW K1200S fully loaded in showroom condition with heated grips,onboard computer,ABS brakes,ESA(Electronic suspension on the go),TPM(Tire pressure monitors),ASC (traction control)
. The bike has been garage kept its entire life. The bike has only has 40 miles put on it since 2009. I just don`t have time to ride. Notice the exhaust on the bike. It`s the only one of its kind in the USA and is 4 into 4 pipes. It`s not the whining sound that you get from a slip on exhaust from remus ,leo vince,Akra. This is a deep throaty sound from a full HPE carbon fiber exhaust. The 4 separate pipes where the carbon fiber is can be grabbed with your hands even after riding and they will not burn you. I had an inside connection to get the exhaust. The average person cannot even find them online. I have all the original parts that came on the bike from the factory (Exhaust,windscreen,seat,grab bars,air cleaners and wind tubes)That will go with the bike. The bike will need a battery due to sitting. I have had the bike on a (BMW)battery tender all of the time, It wasn`t enough to keep the battery charged. I don`t want to sell,but I cannot justify this piece of art sitting in my garage any longer.If you`re looking for a bike that is in showroom condition that turns heads everywhere you go, then look no further. I have all paperwork from the bike.The title is clear and in hand. It`s a 1 of a kind bike that you will not find anywhere else . All sales are final. Tue, 29 Jun 2010As the chair of this session I will start. On my walk to work this morning I got beeped at by BMW's C1 scooter whilst crossing the road. This, my most detested mockery of two-wheeled transport, beeped at me for no reason whatsoever but what angered me more was the pitiful horn the BMW has, it was a roadrunner like ‘meep’.
2013 BMW F700GS and F800GS Announced
Tue, 03 Jul 2012BMW has updated its F800GS and introduced the F700GS which replaces the F650GS for the German manufacturer’s 2013 lineup. The 2013 BMW F800GS slots in under the R1200GS as the company’s mid-displacement adventure tourer while the F700GS is an entry-level model to the segment. Despite the nomenclature, both models are equipped with liquid-cooled and fuel-injected four-valve 798cc twin-cylinder engines, just like the 650.
2014 BMW K1600GTL Exclusive Outed in CARB Documents
Mon, 23 Sep 2013Earlier this summer, BMW announced its 2014 six-cylinder K1600GT including a new variant called the K1600GT Sport. A new document released by the California Air Resources Board reveals the more luxurious K1600GTL may be getting its own special variant as well. CARB released a new executive order for its 2014 K16 models including the K1600GTL Exclusive alongside the regular K1600GTL and the K1600GT.
