A great second owner 2006 BMW K1200R for sale.
It spent its whole life being serviced by an Authorized BMW dealer, Hermy's in PA. 15200 miles +/- I'm still riding it. Tires are nice and fresh, brakes are great. ABS and heated grips. This thing is lightning fast! It does have a recall on the fuel level meter, a common issue with this model. It will be replaced for free when you bring it in for service. Schaller Replacing von Kuenheim as Head of BMW Motorrad
Fri, 04 May 2012BMW is shuffling its management team, with current head of the its motorcycle business Hendrik von Kuenheim getting reassigned to the automotive side of the company. He will be replaced by Stephan Schaller on June 1 in a domino-effect series of reassignments. Pictured to the left in the picture above, Von Kuenheim has been in charge of the motorrad portfolio since 2008.
2013 US Motorcycle Sales Data
Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.

Mon, 15 Dec 2008Here are a few things going on around the Motorcycle.com Forum Network: Animated Engines plivez, a new member of the Ducati.ms forums (welcome Plivez!) has a website where he animates motorcycle engines in flash. It’s pretty interesting to see the way a Evo and Twin Cam V twin Harley Davidson engine works. He also has up the crazy BMW flat twin R100 motorcycle engine which seems more complicated then an engine should be!
