BMW K-Series tech info
BMW K-Series description
This is a 2003 K1200GS in excellent condition. Beautiful black paint. All stock with the exception of a Technik windscreen and a Beltronics radar detector with billet mount. Both tires are about 80%.
Runs and rides great. This bike as with any other K model I've ever seen will smoke on start up after sitting on the side stand for any length of time. Just a heads up for the non BMW crowd. If you have questions, ask them. Shipping is to be paid for by the buyer, if needed I will deliver the bike to one of the local shipping depots such as Forward Air, in Oklahoma City. The bike will not ship or be available for pickup until payment is fully verified, no exceptions. A $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end, full payment is due within 7 days of auction end. |

WSBK 2013: Phillip Island Race Report
Mon, 25 Feb 2013Max Biaggi who? The Roman Emperor’s retirement after winning the 2012 World Superbike Championship marked the end of an era for Aprilia, with the 2013 campaign marking the first without Biaggi since the Italian manufacturer came back to the WSBK scene with the RSV4. If Aprilia misses its two-time WSBK Champion, it sure didn’t show it with a dominating display at the 2013 season opener in Australia.
2012 Piaggio X10 350i Review – First Ride
Mon, 23 Apr 2012Back in 1993 Piaggio had developed the Hexagon, which became the world’s first so called GT scooter. Through the X7 to the all new X10, Piaggio has developed its new flagship scooter, and in Paris I got to sample the 350cc version of the X10. Piaggio will offer the X10 as a 125, 350 and 500cc version.
Firefighting Motorcycle
Fri, 17 Apr 2009Ever had an officer ask you “where’s the fire?” after being pulled over for speeding? Well now you have a good excuse. This converted BMW R1200RT has two 20 or 25 liter tanks (contain a premix of water and foam) mounted on either side that is connected to a 6.8 liter compressed air tank on the back of the bike that has a 20 to 30 meter hose. They are currently being used in the U.K.
