BMW K-Series description

A classic powerful bike. Not perfect by any means but nothing major. ABS light flashes but brakes work fine. Some dings that you would expect from a bike this age that has been ridden. Tires 80%, new gel batt. 2015, new clutch, newer trans.(27000 on trans.), all fluids changed, splines lubed, new air filter. Hard bags included but not shown. Bike is being ridden so mileage may increase. Questions are encouraged.

The BMW R18 Classic received a wide 16-inch front wheel, a windshield and leather side bags. In addition, it is equipped with a passenger seat, two extra LED lights and cruise control as standard. If desired, both glass and bags can be quickly removed, quickly turning the touring into a cruiser.

EICMA 2011 Preview: BMW Maxi-Scooters to Debut in Milan

BMW will present its 2012 lineup at the upcoming EICMA show in Milan, Italy, but the centerpiece will be the company’s first maxi-scooters. The German manufacturer is expected to reveal two scooter models, both derived from the Concept C BMW unveiled at the 2010 EICMA show. The two scooters are expected to be powered by a version of the parallel Twin engine used in the F800R, but with a lower displacement in the 500cc-650cc range.

BMW to Partner with India’s TVS Motor Company

BMW is getting closer to signing a partnership agreement with India’s TVS Motor Company. The partnership, expected to be finalized before the end of March, would see TVS receive access to BMW technology while the German manufacturer would increase its footprint in the world’s second most-populated nation. TVS is one of India’s largest manufacturers but it has recently slipped to fourth from third behind Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto and Honda.
