I have a 2009 G650GS, 7200miles, clean title in hand. Always garage kept. Chain, sprockets, brakes, wheels all in pristine condition. NEVER dropped, scratched, only used on roads. It's fully 'decked out' with every possible option: ABS, Brembo Brakes, GPR Exhaust ($450)(from Milano, Italy) Center-Stand, it has it all. Included: I have 2 official expandable saddlebags ($650), and the official cover($150). I had it painted with BMW Cordoba Blue paint (from R9T) ($400). The bike originally came in red, and I've posted photos of the day I bought it. Handguards included too (mint). The bike doesn't come with windshield, as riding 30mph in Miami is too hot with one and I have already sold it.(-$100) Tire tread is great, have only used Supreme Gasoline, rims look brand new. Front light upgrade and it makes a HUGE difference. I've taken great care of this bike and invested over $10,000 with all the upgrades tallied up. I want to find it a good owner. WSBK 2013: Nurburgring Race Report
Tue, 03 Sep 2013Tom Sykes has taken over the lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings after splitting race victories with Chaz Davies at Germany’s Nurburgring circuit. Both races ended prematurely however with red flags during the final laps. Pata Honda‘s Jonathan Rea and FIXI Crescent Suzuki‘s Leon Camier both crashed on the 18th lap of Race One after running into oil spilled on the track from Pedercini Kawasaki racer Federico Sandi‘s ZX-10R.
BMW Reports Q2 2014 Financial Results
Tue, 05 Aug 2014BMW reported an 11.2% growth in motorcycle sales revenue for the second quarter ended June 30, 2014, thanks to a new best-ever quarterly record of 42,259 motorcycles sold. The record sales quarter also led to a record of 70,978 motorcycles sold in the first half of 2014, the most motorcycles BMW has sold in a six-month period in the company’s 90-year history in the business. The second quarter sales result represents a 5.1% increase on the 40,209 motorcycles sold in the same quarter last year.
2007-2008 BMW K1200R, K1200S Recalled for Foaming Brake Fluid
Tue, 16 Oct 2012BMW is issuing a recall on the 2007-2008 K1200S, K1200R and K1200R Sport models due to a problem with the front brake hydraulics. In long rides at high rpms, engine vibrations may cause the full front brake fluid to foam. This would occur at a very narrow rev range and only when the brake fluid reservoir is filled to maximum.
