Taxes and Registration fees: Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered.
Title Information: Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made by cashier's or personal checks we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared.
Shipping & Delivery:
1. All shipping charges are buyer's responsibility. Motorcycles of Dulles will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage!
2. Licensed Carriers are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom. All shipping arrangements are provided by Motorcycles of Dulles as a courtesy. We are not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the shipper, not with Motorcycles of Dulles.
3. The amount of time it takes for delivery is dependent on the carrier, but is generally 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Verify with the shipper for an Estimate Time of Arrival to be sure.
Finalizing your Purchase:
1. Terms of Sale Overview: As this motorcycle is also for sale in our showroom, we reserve the right to end this listing at anytime should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. The following terms of sale apply to all of our eBay motorcycle listings. All motorcycle sales are subject to a $384.00 processing fee and a minimal local gross receipts tax. (Usually between $8 and $20) The winning bidder must contact us immediately at auction end to provide appropriate contact information. If outside of business hours, this can be done via email through the eBay listing. A non-refundable partial payment of $500.00 (Five Hundred Dollars U.S.) is required immediately to close the auction and to secure the vehicle. Buyer agrees to pay the remaining balance due (including all applicable fees and taxes) within 7 days of the close of the auction. BMW is marking the launch of its new R1200GS with a contest offering five riders a chance to ride the new GS on one of five international tours. The “One World, One GS” Tour will give five riders the opportunity to be one of the first people in the world to ride the 2013 BMW R1200GS. The tour will take place over five continents: Asia through Laos, Africa through Botswana and South Africa, New Zealand, America through the southwestern states, and Europe from Madrid, Spain to BMW‘s home in Munich, Germany.

2014 BMW US Prices Released – R nineT Only $800 More Expensive than R1200R

If you’ve been considering a new BMW motorcycle this year, then you must be eagerly awaiting the German manufacturer to release its 2014 prices. Now that your Christmas bills are paid off (at least, you would hope), you can start budgeting for your new Beemer, now that BMW Motorrad USA has released pricing information for the five newest models to its lineup, the R nineT, S1000R, R1200GS Adventure, K1600GTL Exclusive and R1200RT. Perhaps the most welcome news is the R nineT’s pricing at $14,900, making it just $800 more expensive than the R1200R‘s $14,100 price tag.

2012-2013 BMW S1000RR Side Stand Recall Expands to US

Earlier this month, we reported a recall issued by Transport Canada for the 2012 and 2013 BMW S1000RR because of a problem with their side stands. That recall has now expanded to the U.S., affecting 2,385 units. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the side stand attachment bolts on the affect BMW S1000RR units can loosen because of a manufacturing fault.
