BMW F-Series description

Excellent condition, garage kept.  Selling because moving to the East coast.

At the heart of this German machine sits a 798cc, water-cooled 4-stroke in-line two-cylinder engine with two overhead camshafts, four valves per cylinder and dry sump lubrication. The engine develops a maximum power of 90 hp at 8,000 rpm and 86 Nm of torque at 5,800 rpm. All this power is more than enough to propel the motorcycle to a maximum speed of over 125 mph.
To help you use the entire power generated by the engine, BMW equipped its F800GT with a longer rear-wheel swing arm and a tighter suspension that offer a great stability at high speeds.

The F800GT has a low-maintenance belt drive and single sided swingarm. ABS brakes, heated grips, tire pressure monitoring system, on board computer, LED indicators, anti theft alarm system, main centre stand, Automatic Stability Control (ASC), pannier fastenings, comfort seat, low seat, and Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA).

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.
