This Motorcycle shares almost identical Motor and Chasis to the very capable /versitle BMW F650 but with upgraded 5 valve Cylinder Heads for more Horsepower, upgraded suspension for better on and off road drivability, and sleeker styled body work and headlight which is more oriented to street use even though this bike is arguably better Off Road than the BMW as well. BMW S1000RR Valve Train Working at High RPM [video]

Tue, 23 Feb 2010

I’d like to ramble on about a dozen different things relating to this video, but the 3- minute, 19-second clip speaks for itself. However, once the engine is revving at high rpm, watching the cams, finger followers and valve springs seemingly freeze in action due to the incredible speeds, I was reminded of that whole “Dude, the faster I went the more everything around me seemed to slow down,” experience we’ve all heard about or experienced. Enjoy!

2013 BMW C650GT Canadian Pricing Announced – Sort Of

Thu, 26 Jan 2012

BMW has started production of its new C600 Sport and C650GT but still hasn’t officially released pricing information for its two new maxi-scooters. BMW Canada however may have let slip pricing for the C650GT: CA$11,900 BMW Motorrad Canada is holding a contest to give away a C650GT, and the contest rules list the scooter’s MSRP. Of course, the $11,900 price tag is subject to change, especially as the scooter isn’t expected to arrive in Canada until late 2012 as a 2013 model.
