BMW F-Series description

I bought this motorcycle for my girlfriend.  It is a great bike for it's age.  We are moving out of state and are downsizing our bike collection.  This bike is the lowered GS, my girlfriend is 5'6''. The only thing out of the ordinary: when the ABS is turned on the ABS light is on, and when the ABS is turned off, the light is off.  On every other GS I have seen, the function of this light is the opposite.  The ABS functions as it should.  This motorcycle comes with the appropriate BMW cases.  The outside covers are silver and in good condition.

I would not, could not, ride a BMW C1

Tue, 29 Jun 2010

As the chair of this session I will start. On my walk to work this morning I got beeped at by BMW's C1 scooter whilst crossing the road. This, my most detested mockery of two-wheeled transport, beeped at me for no reason whatsoever but what angered me more was the pitiful horn the BMW has, it was a roadrunner like ‘meep’.
