Aprilia RS 250 for sale, has 1742 miles. Bike is in good condition, runs good. Front suspension just serviced, sprung for 150 lb rider. Bike has a new battery, and new fluids. Bike is all OEM except for Marchesini wheels ( 5.0 rear) Arrow exhaust system, and Airtech racing bodywork. Bike has Pirelli slick racing tires. The bike also has the original Aprilia racing title and a few extra parts to go with it. I can deliver to CCS florida . Ducati Targeting Aprilia Racing Manager Gigi Dall’Igna
Wed, 09 Oct 2013Ducati has reportedly signed Aprilia Racing manager Gigi Dall’Igna to take control of its struggling MotoGP program. Neither Ducati Corse or Aprilia Racing have confirmed the reports, but several sources in the European motorsports press such as Motociclismo.it, not to mention a tweet from retired World Superbike Champion Max Biaggi, claim the deal is done. Dall’Igna has been an instrumental figure in Aprilia’s racing success since the manufacturer’s return to WSBK racing with the RSV4 in 2009, helping guide Biaggi to two championships and, pending the result of the 2013 season finale at Jerez, likely three manufacturers titles.
Ioda Racing Unveils Aprilia RSV4-Powered MotoGP CRT Race Bike
Mon, 12 Mar 2012Italy-based Ioda Racing presented its 2012 MotoGP and Moto2 race bikes including the Aprilia RSV4-engined TR003 prototype. The Ioda Racing TR003 machine (pictured above, to the left) uses a trellis-frame produced in-house while the engine is based on the RSV4′s 999cc V4 powerplant. The team will compete as CAME IodaRacingas a Claiming Rule Team entry.
Alvaro Bautista goes Aprilia in MotoGP
Mon, 15 Sep 2014Just hours after it announced it would return to MotoGP one year ahead of schedule, Aprilia announced it has signed current MotoGP Gresini Honda rider Alvaro Bautista to a two-year contract. Bautista won the 125 World Championship for Aprilia back in 2006 and started out on the Italian company’s 125s. Now in his fifth year in MotoGP, the 29-year-old Spaniard has three third-place finishes and one pole to show for his efforts.
