2014 Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 Available Now with ABS

Aprilia USA announced the 2014 edition of the Dorsoduro 750 is now available at dealerships nationwide, now with the addition of anti-lock brake technology as standard equipment. The 2014 Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 uses a dual-channel ABS from Continental. According to Aprilia, the system monitors the speed of both wheels and separately controls the braking for both the front and the rear.

The Aprilia Mana 850 was introduced to the U.S. in July 2008, the Aprilia Mana 850GT was first seen at INTERMOT last November.  The GT version is also equipped with “Autodrive” that has three different mappings: Touring, Sport, and Rain or can switch to a seven-speed manual shift without a clutch, the GT’s biggest addition is a half-fairing with an adjustable windshield and a 2-channel Continental ABS system (850GT ABS). You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.
