2008 APRILIA RXV 550 The second of two that I picked up this spring. I originally intended to keep this one and did a few upgrades when I went through it. The odometer shows 100 miles but it didn't have a speed sensor when I got it (it does now) but the ECU only showed 16 hours of run time. I went all the way to the bottom end on this one and it now has less than 30 minutes on a fresh rebuild. It was missing a few parts when I got it so the seat, chain, clutch, and rear fender are all new. There are some light brush marks on the front fender but I have a new one ordered. The forks were just serviced with synthetic oil and new double lipped fork seals. Piaggio Reports Q1 2013 Results
Mon, 06 May 2013The Piaggio Group reported an 11.6% drop in net sales for the first quarter of 2013, the result of a struggling economy and unseasonably cold weather in Europe and a flatlining two-wheeler market in Vietnam. There was however some good news in North America, Vespa sales in India and a 27.8% increase in Moto Guzzi sales. According to the company’s first quarter report, Piaggio reported net sales of 303.4 million euros (US$396.8 million), down from net sales of 343.1 million euros reported the same quarter of 2012.
