Aprilia RSV Mille description

2003 Aprilia RSV Mille excellent condition, Leo Vince pipe, Michelin Pilot Sport 2CT tires (90%), Puig dark smoke windscreen, Rizoma grips and levers, Woodcraft clip ons, Fully de-restricted airbox with K&N air filter, Gabro Eprom chip in ECU, New Race Tech fork seals and inner/outer fork bushings, New AGM battery this season, has had the voltage regulator update performed, Ready to go I ride this bike on a regular basis and have ridden it on several trips without a hitch....Great bike! New project in hand time for this one to go. In my 30+ years of riding sportbikes this one is one of my personal favorites and if your looking at it you probably already know this isn't some 19 yr old's baddest or highest horsepower bike of the week, this is an excellent example of Italian style and engineering with a much higher level of reliability than the other Italian twin. Happy bidding and Enjoy!

Piaggio Reports Q3 2012 Results

Thu, 01 Nov 2012

The Piaggio Group reported a 9.1% decrease in net sales over the first nine months of 2012 compared to the same period in 2011, thanks in large part to a strong decline in the European market for two-wheelers. According to Piaggio‘s third quarter 2012 report, the Italian manufacturer recorded 706.3 million euros (US$913.8 million) in motorcycle and scooter sales, compared to 777.2 million in sales over the same period of 2011. The Piaggio Group, which also includes the brands Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Vespa and other brands, sold 321,300 motorcycles and scooters in the first nine months of 2012, a year-on-year decrease of 3.5% from 2011.

RSVP from an RSV4

Aprilia’s RSV4 Factory has to be one of the most interesting and adrenaline-inducing literbikes around, and that’s just part of why we gave it an Honorable Mention in our Best of 2010 Sportbike category. We recently had opportunity to put on a poor but passing Max Biaggi imitation with one particularly fine example. This RSV comes courtesy of our friend Kaming Ko, who often helps us on test rides.
