Aprilia RSV 4 R APRC ABS description

Mature, older rider selling immaculate thoroughbred RSV4 APRC ABS. No track, no falls. Comfortable as a commuter for my 6'2 frame. Only 3900 miles.

Steel braided brake lines, Brembo calipers and more, the '13 model has improved ergonomics, engine and electronics. APRC is the full track package, with 8 on the fly traction control settings, ABS, Launch and Wheelie controls. Stock ECU provides 3 riding modes.

I've owned R1s and Ducatis, and the APRC is more nimble and aggressive. It's the best bike that I've ever ridden. The MIVV exhaust tone is just right, deep and race. It's SUPER FAST.

Showroom stock condition, with extras:

  • Puig light smoke windshield

  • MIVV Slip-on

  • Austin Racing folding levers

  • LighTech bar ends

  • Tidy tail and plate relocator

  • Carbon fiber air ducts, chain guard and passenger seat heel guards

  • Battery tender connection

  • All single seat and passenger seat hardware included.

Meticulously and recently maintained by racer Marco Martinez himself at Champion Motorcycles Inc, in Davie, FL. Motul oil and Engine Ice coolant. Suspension adjusted for tighter performance. Clean title, all paperwork and all keys on file.

Extra pictures and information upon request.

She's looking for the right rider!

Race Bradley Smith at any MotoGP venue

Tue, 02 Feb 2010

BRITISH RACING ace Bradley Smith has helped launch the new Capcom MotoGP 09/10 video game, at the Silverstone circuit in England. The Aspar Aprilia rider took on several journalists in a series of grand prix races featured on the new game. A new Tissot MotoGP watch was awarded to the journalist who beat Bradley, on time in a three lap race at the Mugello circuit in Italy, where Bradley won his second grand prix of the season last year. "It's a brilliant game not only for the racing at all the MotoGP venues, including the new circuits at the Balatonring in Hungary and Silverstone in England, but all aspects of grand prix racing including sponsorship, livery and PR," explained Smith who was joined by fellow British riders Scott Redding and Danny Webb, at the launch which was held at the prestigious BRDC suite at the Silverstone circuit, that will host the British Grand Prix this year. "There were some serious game players, there and I'm glad I don't have to meet them out on the track."

The Japanese oddity to naming teams

Wed, 28 Jul 2010

Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others.
