2001 Aprilia Futura: The RST1000 Futura is one of Italy's finest sport touring offerings, known for terrific handling and performance, and remarkable comfort, as well. This Futura has been used primarily as a commuter, with some rewarding jaunts into the countryside. It is equipped with controls for Gerbing heated gear, and has Convertibar handlebars installed, which afford a slightly more upright seating posture than stock. 2014 WSBK – Portimao Results
Mon, 07 Jul 2014Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.
EICMA 2011 Preview: Aprilia SRV 850 Maxi-Scooter

Fri, 27 Jul 2012The Piaggio Group reported a 4.8% drop in motorcycle and scooter sales over the first half of 2012 thanks to the continuing struggles of the European economy. The Piaggio Group includes the brands Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa. According to the company’s second quarter report, the Piaggio Group sold 216,700 motorcycles and scooters in the first half of 2012, compared to 227,700 units in 2011.
