Aprilia Falco description
This is a very nice 2001 Aprilia SL1000 Falco that I am wanting to sell. The Aprilia has only 10k miles. New rear tire, fresh oil and filter change. New Battery, only two weeks old. It is a Premium Power Sport battery with AGM Technology. It is still under warranty. The riding position is up, just a little, from a super-sport bike which makes it very comfortable to ride but still gives the look and feel of a super-sport. The good thing about that is the insurance is only about 1/3 the cost of a super-sport. The exhaust is from a 2011 Aprilia Tuono, and it sounds GREAT..The color looks orange in the images, but it is red. As red as the tail-lamps.The dash is unbelievable. There are five buttons that controls the functions. There is a (tattle tale) button that records and keeps your highest speed. A track button that will keep lap times. A trip button that keep miles and will give you your average speed of your trip. And more..The Falco's are a hard to find bike. Aprilia SRV850 Maxi-Scooter Gets Optional ABS and Traction Control
Wed, 20 Jun 2012Aprilia announced it will produce a new version of the SRV850 maxi-scooter with an anti-lock braking system and traction control. The Aprilia SRV850 ABS/ATC is the latest scooter from the Piaggio Group to include both technologies, following the Piaggio BV350 and the Piaggio X10. The Aprilia SRV850 uses a sensors located in both wheels.
Piaggio Opening New Design Center in US
Wed, 14 Mar 2012Piaggio announced it is opening a new design center in Pasadena, Calif., to be headed by Aprilia RSV4 designer Miguel Galluzzi. Roberto Colaninno, chairman and chief executive officer of the Piaggio Group, announced plans for the new Advanced Design Center at a dealer convention for the Piaggio Group Americas in Miami, Fla. At the moment, North American customers usually have to wait a little longer before they receive new Piaggio models, with most models arriving on these shores months after they are available in Europe.

Thu, 26 Jul 2012Aprilia USA announced the arrival of a new Max Biaggi race replica version of its two-stroke SR 50 scooter as a new 2013 model. The Aprilia SR50 Race Replica is dressed to match the livery of Biaggi’s RSV4 World Superbike racer. Aprilia had previously produced a race replica SR50, but that was with the white Aprilia Alitalia livery from 2009.
