2001 Aprilia Sl1000 Falco New Tire & Battery on mail.2040motos
Aprilia Falco description
This is a very nice 2001 Aprilia SL1000 Falco that I am wanting to sell. The Aprilia has only 10k miles. New rear tire, fresh oil and filter change. New Battery, only two weeks old. It is a Premium Power Sport battery with AGM Technology. It is still under warranty. The riding position is up, just a little, from a super-sport bike which makes it very comfortable to ride but still gives the look and feel of a super-sport. The good thing about that is the insurance is only about 1/3 the cost of a super-sport. The exhaust is from a 2011 Aprilia Tuono, and it sounds GREAT..The color looks orange in the images, but it is red. As red as the tail-lamps.The dash is unbelievable. There are five buttons that controls the functions. There is a (tattle tale) button that records and keeps your highest speed. A track button that will keep lap times. A trip button that keep miles and will give you your average speed of your trip. And more..The Falco's are a hard to find bike. There are not that many in the U.S.This bike is Fuel Injected and water cooledThe bike runes GREATCall, text or email..

Piaggio confirmed it will be importing the production version of its Vespa 946 (a.k.a. the “Quarantasei“) to North America, representing the next generation of scooters from the iconic Italian brand. The 946 was presented alongside the Aprilia Caponord 1200 and Moto Guzzi California 1400 at Piaggio’s North American dealer meeting last week in Miami.Thu, 07 Feb 2013 00:00:00 -0800
Aprilia opened a new chapter in its racing history, unveiling its team livery for the RSV4 for the 2013 World Superbike Championship. The 2013 season will be the first since the Italian brand returned to WSBK racing in 2009 without “the Roman Emperor” Max Biaggi who retired at the end of last season after winning his second title in three years on Aprilia’s flagship V4 sportbike. Despite the departure of Biaggi, who is moving up to the broadcast booth to cover WSBK for Italian television, Aprilia hopes to remain a title contender with the returning Eugene Laverty and the newly-signed Sylvain Guintoli.Fri, 12 Feb 2010 00:00:00 -0800
Motorcyclists can now enjoy total freedom on the open road confident in the knowledge that their cell phones, GPS, MP3 players and latest generation of iPhone/iTouch devices will remain fully-charged and in-service for the duration of the ride thanks to Powerlet’s plug and play systems. “Our product line was inspired by personal experience and the realization that there were no worthwhile options for clean, reliable on-board power for cell phones, stereos and GPS devices,” says Powerlet Products founder Adam Bonislawaski. “Before we came on to the scene, riders would bust out the black tape and wire strippers and cut into their bike’s fragile wiring to tie-in a cheap cigar lighter to power their devices.
