Aprilia All description

For sale is a 2013 Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC ABS SBK Special Edition. In English, it's the RSV4 Factory ("racing" version instead of "street"), with Aprilia Performance Ride Control, anti-lock brakes, etc. This is the "special edition" because of the badging celebrating Aprilia's 2012 Superbike World Championship win. It was only available in the USA, and purchased new by the original owner (whom I bought it from) for something around $22,500.

This bike is absolutely perfect in every way.
It has under 1,000 miles (unless I really get some riding time in this week), and doesn't have a scratch, blemish, smudge, or anything else on it. It has been sitting in the original owner's garage for three years due to health issues and now has found it's way into my possession.

The pictures I've attached don't do it justice. It looks like it just came off the showroom floor, aside from a couple splatters of grease on the wheel from the chain. The Aprilia cover it's stored under is softer than any of the blankets on my bed.

If you're looking at this bike you probably know Aprilia already... so I don't have to say it... but I will anyway: This bike sounds like sex. It feels... a lot like sex. It handles better than anything I've ever ridden. The APRC is completely adjustable to whatever conditions or riding style you have. And the best part is that you probably won't come across one of these while you're out riding with a group. The more I write this the less I feel like actually selling it.

Please contact me with any questions you have. I'll be posting a couple vids on Youtube and linking them here later on. I'm not taking any offers... if I don't get at least $14K then this beauty is staying in my garage. $500 deposit due within 2 days of auction end. Buyer responsible for pick up or shipping. Thank you!

Paris Hilton’s Race Team Might Actually Be Good

Wed, 16 Feb 2011

When news first emerged that Paris Hilton was getting into the Grand Prix racing business, the response from fans of the motorcycle racing ranged from utter disdain to hope that the celebutante’s involvement would raise the profile of the sport. Whether you dread the image of a sparkly pink carbon fiber fairing or welcome any infusion of funding and support for racing, the one thought that may not have crossed your mind was “what if the team turns out to be pretty good?” Based on the results of a recent 125cc Grand Prix pre-season test, that might be the case. Maverick Viñales of the SuperMartxe VIP by Paris Hilton team had the second fastest laptime from the three-day test at Spain’s Valencia circuit, just 0.1 seconds behind the leader Nico Terol of Bancaja Aspar.

Race Bradley Smith at any MotoGP venue

Tue, 02 Feb 2010

BRITISH RACING ace Bradley Smith has helped launch the new Capcom MotoGP 09/10 video game, at the Silverstone circuit in England. The Aspar Aprilia rider took on several journalists in a series of grand prix races featured on the new game. A new Tissot MotoGP watch was awarded to the journalist who beat Bradley, on time in a three lap race at the Mugello circuit in Italy, where Bradley won his second grand prix of the season last year. "It's a brilliant game not only for the racing at all the MotoGP venues, including the new circuits at the Balatonring in Hungary and Silverstone in England, but all aspects of grand prix racing including sponsorship, livery and PR," explained Smith who was joined by fellow British riders Scott Redding and Danny Webb, at the launch which was held at the prestigious BRDC suite at the Silverstone circuit, that will host the British Grand Prix this year. "There were some serious game players, there and I'm glad I don't have to meet them out on the track."
