2000 American Classic Motors Fxr on 2040-motos

  You are looking at an Immaculate Factory 2000 FXR4 CVO package with 8,800 original miles! As the second owner I can tell you this bike has been taken care of meticulously and with such low mileage, this bike is still factory fresh!!! 

 

  The original owner had the dealership upgrade the engine with; Screaming Eagle (S.E) Performance Heads, (S.E) Forged Pistons, Wood W-8 Cam with the B-138 Cam Bearing Upgrade, V-Thunder fast times Push Rods, Vance & Hines 2-1 Sport Pipe, (S.E) Street Ignition, (S.E) Performance Coil, all were installed with just 6 set up miles on the bike!!!!

 

  Currently she is titled in my name and it's clean and clear, I also have a detailed list of all the installed parts from Southern Tier Harley Davidson. All of the engine upgrades were installed with just six set up miles on the odometer.

 The FXR model was designed by Eric Buell for Harley Davidson just before he went on to the success of Buell motorcycles and now Eric Buell Racing! He wanted to design a Harley that would out run and out perform the bikes Harley Davidson was currently putting out. He did what he had set out to do with amazing results!

 

 Discontinued in 1994 because the massively stout square channel frame took over an hour longer to weld at the fabrication plant, so to cut down on production costs, the FXR was phased out from the line up and the inferior Dyna line of motorcycles took its place.

 

 If you think about the mileage on this machine,it has an average of less than 500 miles a year on it! That's 500 gentile miles a year on this machine! Floating Rotors all the way around are like new! Pads, like new! Wear and tear is nonexistent!!! This bike hasn't seen wear and tear!!!

 

  When introduced for it's very limited run, the CVO FXR4 was loaded with all the best factory extra's Harley had to offer. It was Harley's classy way of saying goodbye to the Evolution Engine. Aside from this model everything else had switched over to the Twin Cam Engine. The FXR 2,3 were limited editions, however the FXR4 was the only evolution that had true 2000 and later 4 piston duel disc brakes, the only FXR to have an electronic speedometer pick up, upgraded digital gauges, late model wiring harness with the updated circuit breaker/fuse panel, factory Deutsch connections!

 

  This was also Harley's way of saying hello to their new CVO line! There's a lot of history associated with this machine there were only around 997 made, 286 or so in Tangerine! Original owner babied this bike, I would be surprised if it had ever been ridden in the rain. Extremely well taken care of and one of the cleanest factory FXR's I have seen in a very long time.
